Extra support and measures will be in place for: 18 March 2020 New guidance for households with possible COVID-19 infection New guidance advises people to stay at home for 14 days if someone in your household has symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19). 17 March 2020 Emergency support for businesses hit by coronavirus The Welsh Government has announced a package of support worth more than £200 million for small businesses to help them during the coronavirus outbreak. 17 March 2020 Coronavirus: Acas advice for employers and employees Acas has published advice for employers on dealing with the new coronavirus outbreak, including how to handle employees who have the virus and those who do not want to come into work because they are worried about catching it. 16 March 2020 Protecting lone workers guidance Lone workers can be at greater risk of harm as they may not have anyone to help them if things go wrong. Employers should provide training, supervision, monitoring and support for those working alone. 16 March 2020 Tax helpline to support businesses affected by coronavirus (COVID-19) HMRC has a set up a phone helpline to support businesses and self-employed people concerned about not being able to pay their tax due to coronavirus (COVID-19). 16 March 2020 Transition Period: Legal services business owners The Ministry of Justice has produced guidance for legal services business owners in the UK or the EU on how to prepare for the end of the transition period.
