Owen Williams has signed for Japanese club NTT Docomo Red Hurricanes, making him ineligible to play for Wales. The Welsh Rugby Union have revealed the special tribute they planned to pay to Matthew J Watkins ahead of Wales’ game against Scotland. Today’s Six Nations match at the Principality Stadium has been postponed due to fears over the coronavirus. Watkins, 41, passed away last week after a seven-year battle with a rare form of pelvic cancer. During a successful career, he earned 18 caps for Wales and played 150 times for the Llanelli Scarlets. The current Guinness PRO14 season has been suspended in response to the evolving Coronavirus / COVID-19 outbreak. The PRO14 is an international league.
