World of Cruising Magazine – Inside the luxurious Butler Service Suites on Britannia by P&O Cruises
Brit can be loved by British cruisers, but P&O Cruises has not always been synonymous with luxury. Today, however, it offers some opulence on board.
The P&O Cruises ship Britannia recently embarked on its 2019/20 winter season in the Caribbean, refreshed and better than ever after emerging from its first refurbishment.
Britannia suites feature contemporary and original works of art
The British ship has always dominated the waves in the Caribbean and Mediterranean, and it’s a real treat to stay in – especially if you book one of the 74 butler service suites, designed for those guests who want to travel in style.
All suites offer a large living room, a superior quality bathroom and a large private balcony with sun beds, chairs and table, perfect for admiring glorious views.
For those of you who are inclined to pack the kitchen sink while traveling, there is also a useful walk-in closet and a hairdryer, in case guests forget to pack.
The bathrooms boast a whirlpool tub, ideal for diving after a long day of shore excursions, as well as a shower, a luxurious premier package, bathrobe and slippers.
The suites are spacious and have a separate seating area.
There are original works of art on the walls – all commissioned by British artists, of course – and since it is a proudly British ship, you will find adequate tea and coffee making facilities in your suite.
Did you make friends on board? Entertain them in your living room or order room service for an elegant private dinner.
